First Year CAM PhD Student Sue Parkinson Awarded NSF Fellowship!

First year CAM PhD student Suzanna Parkinson has been selected for a Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation. This fellowship will support her applied mathematics research for the next three years. Sue was selected in the 2020 round of applications. Her research interests included algorithm development and analysis. As an undergraduate, she studied algorithms for multivariate numerical rootfinding, and Sue is now interested in algorithms with applications in genetics and the biological sciences. Congratulations to Sue for this honors and exciting opportunity!
