The Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematicians (SIAM) Fellows program honors SIAM members who are recognized by their peers as distinguished for their contributions to Applied Mathematics. Professor Lek-Heng Lim is being recognized for pioneering contributions to numerical multilinear algebra, and for introducing high-level algebra, geometry, and topology to applied mathematics. He joins other CCAM faculty, including Mary Silber, Rebecca Willet, Mihai Anitescu, and Takis Souganidis, in the SIAM fellows program.
