Background
Yilin received her bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Macalester College. She has a general interest in bridging theoretical mathematics with computational and statistical methods in real-life applications. Her research interests lie broadly in the fields of computational linear algebra, optimization, machine learning, and signal processing. Outside of mathematics, she enjoys reading and playing the piano.
