Background
Yifu Wang is currently a first-year master student at UChicago, majoring in Computational and Applied Mathematics. Prior to that, he received his bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at Nanjing University. He shares a broad research interest in all aspects of applied math, especially high-performance computation, numerical linear algebra and operational research. During his undergraduate years, he also participated in the Nanjing University Symphony Orchestra as a trombonist. It was one of the most wonderful memories in his life.
