Background
Qichen graduated with departmental honors from the University of Washington in 2023 with a B.S. in applied mathematics and a B.S. in mathematics. His research interests include leveraging machine learning to address challenging mathematical problems that prove difficult through traditional methodologies. When not writing scripts to solve problems that appear only once, Qichen enjoys playing badminton, hiking, and working out.
