Background
Katherine graduated from MIT in 2024 with a BS in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. Her research primarily focuses on developing statistical models for genetics and the social sciences, alongside a broader interest in mathematical epidemiology. Beyond her research, she is also passionate about implementing evidence-based math pedagogy. In her free time, she enjoys painting and singing with her grad school a cappella group.
