Background

June received a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Scientific Computing from Courant Institute, New York University. She has been awarded a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate fellowship. She has modeled idealized stratospheric flows using techniques bridging applied math and data science in her master’s thesis. She has worked collaboratively on reduced precision floating-point implementation of the Energy Exascale Earth System Model at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
