DEADLINES
Course Registration: New and returning students are required to meet with advisors, register online, and submit advisor-approved registration forms to Jonathan Rodriguez by Friday, September 27, at noon.
Required for: all students
You will need complete the Responsible Conduct of Research training.
General OIA Orientation for International Students:
Graduate Student Resource Fair hosted by UChicagoGRAD
Tuesday, 9/24, Time: 1:30pm-2:30pm
Location: Max Palevsky Cinema at Ida Noyes (1212 E. 59th Street)
It is required for all international students to Check-in within two weeks of arriving in Chicago.

Welcome Meeting for Incoming PhD Students– Meet Student Affairs Administrator, Jonathan Rodriguez, CCAM Director, Guillaume Bal, some of the CAM faculty and current CAM PhD students.

Campus Tour and Lunch with Current PhD Students (Phillip Lo, & Yifan Peng)

Library Resources Information Session (joint session with the Statistics programs)
Jennifer Hart, Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science Librarian, will give an overview of library services and resources available to all students.

IT Informational Session – John Zekos will explain computational resources in computational resources across campus.

Required for: all new CAM students
Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC) & Department of Computer Science Tea Time - TTIC & CS welcomes new CAM, TTIC, and CS students and will provide an opportunity for students to meet.
Time: 2:30pm
Location: JCL 298 (5730 S. Ellis Ave.)
Successful Collaboration and Overview of UChicago GRAD – A discussion on collaboration within CCAM programs led by CAM faculty and staff. Amy Rapp from the UChicago GRAD office will give an overview of career and other resources available to all students.

Alma Ceballos, Director of Career Services, will give an introductory career services session.

Fire Safety Training (joint session with the Statistics programs)
Gelacio Rodriguez, Laboratory Safety Specialist, will give a fire safety training presentation.
